Default Pressure plate tool

I needed a tool to measure pressure plate finger adjustment. Proper adjustment is from 5/8(.625) and 3/4(.75). Flat to flat on a head bolt is close to the middle at .6825. Speed square, zip tye, & one model A head bolt makes a pretty good temporary tool.

I just turned a chunk of round stock to 5/8" [.625"] and adjust to feel the same drag on all fingers. Next time I'll spin one to 11/16" and see how that works.
Just goes to show there is more than one way milk a cow and still get the job done.
