Default F-1 Brake/Clutch pedal support question

Looking at a bunch of play in the clutch pedal pivot..... brake pedal not as bad. Got the whole assembly removed from the vehicle.

I assume the pedals pivot on some kind of bushings, the ID of which is
the shaft. How does this steel shaft come out of there? Has a mushroom head
on one end and a grease fitting on the other. Looks like the shaft was originally pressed in when it was manufactured..... also looks like it may not have been intended to be removed, because I don't see an easy way to support the thing to press it out the opposite way.

Has anybody done this job?

In the parts book is shows a pin at the grease fitting end of the shaft.
The shaft looks like part # O1T-7606 and the bushings B-7526-A

Just pressed it apart. Took some creativity.....
Bushings are tore up inside.
Looks like I'm driving over to the Early Ford Store tomorrow.

Thanks.
