Default How many Barners are going to a Fathers Day car show?Pictures please.

Been scraping my knuckles off trying to get my AV8 ready for the car show tomorrow, I'll post some pics, and it would be great to see pics from the rest of the Barner community.
Happy Fathers Day!

Every Father's Day our local grass strip airport has a Fly-in pancake breakfast and a car show. My brother manages the airport and he has me park the cars for the car show. This year there were actually 3 flatheads, a 39 Sedan, a '41 Continental and my '47 Merc. The Pierce-Arrow shown in one of the pics used to be owned by my dad before I was born. Here's some pics:

The shows just starting here. I realize there are a lot of other makes here besides Fords, but this is a small town.

IMG_7496.jpgMy Model A club chapter hosts an annual Father's Day car show in Fairfax County, VA. It is a great show and this year was no different. The forecast was for thunder storms, which never appeared, and it got very hot. I didn't take a lot of photos as I was judging and helping out, or staying in the shade.

Great photos! I was wondering was that air compressor conversion originally built like that? With the front half of the model A? I've never seen one like that before.

Yes, those compressors were built that way by the Smith Compressor company. V8s were modified for compressors, too. http://www.maffi.org/DisplayPages/19...Compressor.pdf

Clem, if you car looked as good as Benny's, I would have taken a photo of it! ;-) Of course, yours has more paraphernalia with it.

Yes it is, it belongs to my friend John. It's a 39 of which he said they only made 1000.

Motor Muster on Father's Day at Greenfield Village in Dearborn. My son and his kids, 4th and 5th generations of our family, in my grandfather's pickup (avatar). Also a few of our RG's cars that made the field for Motor Muster. Ok, I give up, can't get the kids pix oriented properly...

Great photos fellas. I took my '35 for a putt, but didn't go to a show.

Brian has a REALLY NICE '37 truck!
