Default swapping out fenders

Has anyone out there ever swapped out their 30-31 front fenders for 32 fenders? 32's look wider at the running board than 30-31's. How much more work would be involved in getting these installed on a 30 coupe?

1932 Fords did not have a side splash apron like model A's - the front fenders attached to the frame which was exposed in the area between the front and rear fenders (above the running boards). I think trying to mount them on a model A and trying to tie them in to the model A splash aprons and running boards would be a bit of a challenge to say the least.

Yes...I would say that the metal work to get them to fit would be a major challenge, and you would cut up some very valuable '32 fenders. A nice set of '32 fenders are worth a lot more than "A" fenders in equivalent condition where I live.
