Default 1936 Gear shift and emergency brake boots

Do the 1936 deluxe cars, especially the club cabriolet, have boots at the base of the gear shift and emergency brake? On page 40 of the 1935-36 Ford book there is a picture of the gear shift and emergency brake and the picture does not show either with a boot.

I don't think that Ford provided/authorized a rubber boot for for the gear shift and emergency brake. I know that it is not correct for my '37 to have a gear shift boot....

No boot on either.

A nice idea, but not one that Ford had in 1936.

The first gearshift boot was on the 39 Mercury and well in to production it was used on the later 39 Fords.
