Re: Con job
Realtors usually take 6% to sell your house.

Re: Con job
What are they going to do for $299? Did you try Google? Did you check the archives here and on HAMB? (I checked and there was nothing)

Re: Con job
Had a great experience with Michael at WeBeAutos.com They handled tons of advertising, qualifying the buyer, all the paperwork and walked me through the fund transfer. All for 5% of the selling price.
It took awhile for the right buyer to come along but from serious offer to car paid for and picked up by the sellers hauler was 5 days. Can't say enough good things about their professional, comforting operation. Chap |

Re: Con job
So he takes his commission after the sale?! ...that's fair. I'm trying to sell an O/T car - would you recommend them?
Thanks, Carl |

Re: Con job
The buyer works through WeBeAutos. Mike receives the payment from the buyer, advises seller who then sends Mike a copy of the title. Mike then deducts the 5% and wires the rest of the funds to the seller. The seller sends the signed title overnight mail to the buyer, and a copy of the postal receipt to Mike.
With my sale I had my funds in my bank and the hauler showed up the day my title was suppose to be delivered to the buyer. Like I say it took awhile to find the right buyer, but the no-hassle sale was worth it. You can send all your photos to Mike and a narrative about the car. Mike will help fine tune it, contact you for approval of the ad and post it on, I believe 80 sites. 5% is cheaper than placing a few decent ads, and someone else filtering buyers and handling the transaction is priceless. Re: Con job
I see they are out of NY. Not sure about trusting a New Yorker, but...
Thanks for this info - think I'll contact him. ~ Carl Quote:
