Default swapping out fenders

Has anyone out there ever tried swapping their 30-31 front fenders for 32 front fenders? They look wider where they bolt to the running boards. How much more work would be involved in getting them to fit on a 30 coupe?

Doesn't answer the question, but I'd think for what you could get for a fair set of '32 fenders, you could buy NOS "A" fenders.

I guess what I'd like to accomplish, is to get my 30 to look a little like a 32 with a little fabrication.

You would be looking at a major project ($$$). The '32 fenders go all the way to the frame at the running board. Use the '32 radiator shell, lights, bumpers and wire wheels and call it a day. Bent spoke Kelsey's look good also.
