Default 1933 1934 Ford Pedal Bumper Plate

The 1933 1934 Ford pedal bumper plate is a very hard part to come by today. Because they were exposed to the weather on the underside of the car many rusted away.
The one I photographed for this artical is a original plate. It does have a good amount of pitting on it but is still solid enough to photograph. It has a coat of black primer to keep it from rusting any farther.
It has one D-nut pressed into it needed to attach it to the floorboard. If your plate does not have this D-nut it is not usuable. This original has some large holes in it and a horseshoe shape cutout. They are there and of that diameter for a reason. Ford always had a design purpose for everthing they did. If your plate does not have these large holes at the location you see in my photos your plate is not usuable. The very small holes were used to nail this plate to the floorboard. I hope this helps.

I want to be sure that everone see this so they understand how it looked, the size of the holes and its correct shape and most importantly that it had a D-nut in it. So few exist so here is waht it looked like.

I found one at the Sacramento swap meet in August for 5 bucks. It included the other 2 pieces that fit in that area as well. Let me know if you need more pictures of originals....
