Ray Day Pistons
I have had these pistons for many years ---rare Hershey "treasures", first I got 2, then found another a few years later ---but not a 4th in 20 years, bought at the price of a high risk investment, and considered shelf art, I have always wondered if they were for use in an A, or B engine, given that they are domed --.OHV?, the pin location would mean a longer rod--or a stroked crank, the bore size is quite large, probably as far as you could go.
What do you think--were these made for a model A,orB application, perhaps for a special aftermarket head application? |
