Nobody has them at the moment, maybe in several months.

I've got lots of original sets that can easily be installed in new tubes.

I looked for metal stem tubes a couple months back. I think they have been mostly out of stock everywhere I looked (Snyder’s, Brattons’s, etc.) for some time.

A&L manufactured them but they shut down early in the pandemic. There must have been another company producing them at one time as I have a set of caps with a different thread than those made by A&L. When researching this I wasn’t able to ID the name of the company but came to the conclusion they just have gone out of business before A&L. It would be nice if someone(Synders?) could pick up those items no longer made by A&L.,

A&L DID NOT go out of business. They went out of retail sales and only sell to dealers now. They are also in the process of moving their entire operation from Connecticut to New Jersey. This has involved moving inventory and heavy machinery as well as adding on to the existing building in New Jersey. There have been numerous glitches along the way so many of their manufacturing operations have been held up. Tire valves and hardware are just some of the items on that "held up" list.

Are there other sources available for metal valve stems, covers, and caps? Yes. But none of these items are "authentic" for Model A and early V8 Fords. A&L's reputation for authentic, high quality parts is well known across the hobby. Be patient. This is a bleep on the screen.
