With new '35 coupe.
No shortage of Full Svc. gas stations w/ repair shops behind.
Great early color footage, too, on video! Thanks!

That Chrysler in the picture is 47 or 48 which I think it was. Dad says at the bottom 1946 and that his hand writing there. He move in 1950 to a new building and sold Chrysler and Plymouth cars.

Where is this located? There is a shop near Washington, NJ that looks very much like this building.

The colorization in that video gives the cars aged patina...light rust on their roof.

Some Barner must live in that area and recognize just where that is. It would be great to see a current day comparison.

The Packard on the right looks like it might be a big one, 160 or 180

Here is my '47 Chrysler Windsor 4 door. I changed the photo from color to B&W. It compares nicely to the one in your photo. 1946 likely would have been the introduction of the 1947 model year indicating the one in your pic was new when this photograph was taken. I'm not skilled enough to zoom in and focus on just the car in the pic. Also, that Packard on the right is on my "if I hit the lottery" wish list. I like 'em all. Found a pic of a '46 on the internet. It also compares well to the photo.

Thanks mercman! In comparing the front bumpers it appears the the car pictured in Old Rednecks photo is a '47, but who knows for sure. Getting back on topic is that a '32 3W at about 2:43?

I can't see any differences between the 46 and 47 Chrysler?
