We'll try again with pictures
Anyone use the "Vintique" windshield wiper arms kit?? IF so how the hell do they fit on the post. The only way I can see is the hook in the arm goes through the hole in the windshield post BUT then how the heck does the windshield post fit into the cover for the the arm and post?

Re: We'll try again with pictures
put the wire in the hole then slide the cover Large end overthe post ,the small end compresses the spring ,the bit inside the cover fits in the groove in the post ,

Re: We'll try again with pictures
Thanks FlatheadTed but we (my brother really) and I figured it out. It's quite neat in concept BUT not SO much in quality. I will have to do a little more tweaking to get it close to perfect BUT I have to cut the arms shorter anyway SO not that much moe w work! If anyone is interested I can share with pictures on how it all fits together!!!

Re: We'll try again with pictures
I keep my wiper blade in the glove box and put a rubber vacuum cap over the end so it wont scratch. I've had the same experience Newc has. Keeping the blade off till needed means it'll be there when it is.
