Default '34 plug wire loom paint color

Ready to spray my wire looms, oil fill tube, and crank pulley. I can't tell from the pictures and the '33/34 book does not say anything about the black paint. Is it flat, glossy, etc.? Any details would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Ron

Are you building a Concourse car? If so, there will be people here that can steer you in the right direction. If not paint it the black of your choice. I have a 35 and painted these things in gloss black.

They were originally painted gloss black, as was the oil filler tube. The crankshaft pulley is one of the exceptions to the general rule of "castings green, stampings black" as it was painted green.

Thanks! Not looking for Concourse, but want it to be generally correct. Gloss black it will be. Thanks also for the tip on the crank pulley. I thought it was black.
