Default 31 Coupe Wood (Under side window)

Hi All:

Does anyone have a 1931 couple with the wood exposed? I picked up a partially finished project and I think I am missing a piece of wood that goes behind the pillar and under the side window wood. I think I can make one, just need an idea of what it should look like.

Thanks Arty

Here is a picture of mine. That beveled piece held with a screw appears to be hard rubber but could probably be made from hardwood. I don't remember what it's for.

Thank you both. MickeyT - any chance I could get some rough dimensions?
Over Length?
Distance from door pillar to 1st screw?
Door pillar to second screw?
Second screw to the end of the block?

Height of face?
I think I can eyeball if needed, but if you could get some dimensions it would be greatly appreciated.

I hope this helps. You are also missing a small 4" long block that goes between the bracket and the frame of the window. It's the same thickness as the window frame. That missing piece of wood is supposed to be sitting level. Not sloping downward on the left side the way mine is. It is made of rubber but it's for nailing the upholstery to so wood should be just fine. Where the screws go isn't a big deal they're just to hold the piece to the small block behind it. The tracing is full size. BTW where are you located?

Thanks MickeyT - You went way above and beyond and I really appreciate! I am in the Chicago area and will definitely be able to make something that works now that I can see the different angles.

Can't thank you enough.
