Default Do any orignal, excellent condition A's exist?

Are there any original, unrestored, excellent condition A's around anywhere? I would guess in museums if they exist. Just wondering.

We have a very nice 1930 Murray Town Sedan in our club with about 8,000 miles. I know there are more in California also as well as other states.

Attend the national meets and you will usuall see at least a few mint original A's.

In a garage, a few blocks from me, is an Early '30 Coupe that won FIRST place for the best unrestored car at a National Meet, in San Francisco, in the early '60's! Bill W.

Do you know the story of it? How it survived all those years with only 8000 miles?

I'll have to ask the current owner if he knows the history.

I doubt that unrestored original A's are in museums. They are prizes you just happen to find and are to be cherished. I recall a town sedan a pal and I found in a barn about 55 years ago in primo condition, guy wanted $50, but we were not interested. We were looking for roadsters. Makes me cry.

The late Dave Lopes' 1929 Fordor is still with his widow Lisa with just over 4000 original miles. I visited her last month and we took it for a drive. It is truely amazing. It is so tight and responsive, just like a new car.

There is a original S/W in a private museum around here. Just under 8k miles, black with apple green stripe (where still visible). One of my favorite cars.

Those are "rests" to support the top when down.

Almost same story here, in 1963 I passed over a '29 business coupe for a roadster I never found. ...ended up with a rusty tudor.

In the mid 70's I looked at a 1500 mile 400A or a Victoria,I can never remember which at Fred Pages Model A garage in Haverhill N.H.It was being used at the time as a reference to determine what was correct on a car they were redoing next to it.I caught a rumor somewhere it was still in the family.
