Default 2 cars at OCMAFC pancake breakfast with original paint and upholstery

There were 2 cars at the pancake breakfast that appeared to have original paint and upholstery.

The first one was a 1930 Tudor Sedan.
Unfortunately the owner was not there to talk to.
I took a few pictures.

If the owner sees this post, maybe he can tell us about his car.

The second car was a low mileage 1929 Fordor Sedan. The owner told me that it was bought new by a relative. It had been stored in a barn for a long time. The upholstery had some stains, but appeared to be in very good condition.
Unfortunately it looked like the motor had been restamped (see close up picture).

Hi PS,
I love low mileage, original cars.
How many miles does your Fordor have? Do you know it's history?
Do you have any pictures you can share?
Regards, Neil

The pictures didn't attach to the post for some reason. Will try when I can get to a real computer. Point was, I'm not positive that green car is original paint.

The fordor has 68K miles on it. Yes, I have full history of car and paperwork from all service work through its history. Also have registration slips, etc. Have some pictures when it was used for some magazine ads for street sweepers in the 1970's.

When kept up (not forgotten in a barn for years), the original paint remains fairly shiny. The grille and other bright work holds up very well also.

Would the original paint tudor have a black firewall? Plus an all original car would not be running 16" wheels.

Love those cars with original paint. I will try to post a picture of mine here. Upholstery was replaced, but ALL paint is original.

The Tudor has been a So Cal car all of its life. I'm at least the 5th owner. The green is not original but it was probably painted in the 40's or 50's The car was originally all black.
As far as I can tell everything else is original except I have changed the wheels and tires to 18" rears and 17" fronts. I have also replaced the intake and carb with model B parts.

Stone cold original or not, they have that "leave me alone" look to em. The 30, early refinish for sure but it may have even been a dealer shoot to make a sale from something in stock. Considering that there were no Deluxe Tudor sedans in 30 I'd bet most were black. And I don't blame you on the wheel change. The 29, well, not to whip a dead horse but I can see red oxide primer on the firewall/gas tank. Just sayin, and kool stuff man. Thanks for the pictures.

Took a while for my account to get sorted out but here I am! This is my '29 Town Sedan. I purchased her from a gentleman in Minnesota back in the late 80's who used to babysit my father in the 49's! He was the 2nd owner. I was in high school at the time. She's original accept for the engine which I believe he dropped into a coup sometime in the 70's. She sees daylight about three times a year with the Pancake Breakfast being one of those times. I affectionately call her Eileen which was my grandma's name. I also have a '30 AA I call Chick which was my grandfathers name. Chuck is under construction and was my great grandfathers farm truck with an interesting history involving the Kenedy's. Anyway, thanks for appreciating the '29 for the gem of a survivor that she is. Dan
