Re: Flathead Cam Weber F7RS
Dale,
You mentioned you made the lifters for the flat cad project, what material do you make them out of ? And the roller part itself, is it an of the shelf roller? Or removed from a brand X roller of the required size? Inquiring minds need to know. many thanks, Martin. |

Re: Flathead Cam Weber F7RS
Howdy! I just picked up a Weber F7 and the Weber 1" radius adjustable lifters with the pin in the lifter.
Also included were "the F7 Weber install tools" but they are actually the Isky lifter bore drill jig. Does anyone have a photo of the broaching tool that cuts the slot in the lifter bore? The mid state antique stock car website above only mentions that he's seen 1 example of the tool, but he didn't post a picture either. Thanks!

Yes. Do you know a little background on it?

Re: Flathead Cam Weber F7RS
Jason , the Isky radius use wire guide in lifter bore that is what the drill jig is for & Isky use a slot in lifter, not in lifter bore. I hase NOS & Used Isky cam kits & Isky tools.
I am guessing the kit you have was the one for sale on the HAMB. Cheers Tony |

Yeah. I have the Isky 404a in an engine. Another Isky 404a set up, the tools, lifters in 1” and 2”, clips, double springs and 185 springs and spacers and now this Weber F7RS. I’d like to see a photo of the Weber tool.

Re: Flathead Cam Weber F7RS
They probably use the same type of drilljig as crowers lifters.
