Today's (Sat. Mar. 10th) A of the Day shows some fellows using a smart phone.

One comment on that. They are OK, to a point. I don't have one and don't plan on getting one, I've gotten along just fine for 63 years w/o one, and I don't see the real need for me, to have one. Plus I'm too cheap to pay the monthly fee just to see what some dope has posted on FB.

AND, my friends that have them are addicted to the dumb things. They sit for HOURS and look at them. Drives me bonkers. We've gone into a restaurant to eat lunch and they hardly talk to you, first thing they do is pull out the smart phone and stare at it. Last week when they did that I quietly got up and walked out.

It is rude.

One friend has been going to a Chiro, said his neck has been real sore and doesn't know 'why'. Dummy. It's obvious his wife says he spends close to 6 hours a day fiddling with that thing, always looking down at it.

The dumbing down of America. Sit quietly. Think. Look around and see what is going on. Look out the window of your car and see things.
