Just discovered that those Southern Kiwis have just put up film on you tube of the 2017 Irishmans Rally. This Canterbury branch Vintage Car Club NZ rally took place on 3-5 June, our winter, and travels through the central South Island High Country to Irishmans Creek. Mostly over back roads and private farm tracks. It has become a sort of proving ground for Model A's as you will see apart from a few Austins Chryslers and Dodges almost all the vehicles are A's. There are three films of the 2017 event. Go to you tube type in Irishmans 2017 and they should come up. After viewing you will realise just what a tough vehicle the Model A is.

I would love to the the Irishman

but would need to install a good air filter and maybe raise it above the water level in those creeks. Also,a sack draped over the headlight bar is an advantage.

It has been my ambition for a long time to do this run.
Anyone need a navigator???
I wonder by what margin Model As outnumbered all other comers!
