Sorry but those don't look like any track roadsters I have seen and I have been in it since 1948.
Those are street machines.

Johny, I agree with Pete, ...and second, maybe this type dialogue might be a little better over on HAMB as per Ryan's request. If you go back to The Forum page, you will see where has Ryan asked that all hot rod discussions take place on HAMB and this site be reserved more for original type Model A's and their restorations.

(BTW, look for my banger powered track roadster pix on HAMB.)

you better go look at your history books the first roadster race in california was in 1924 and then the california roadster association was established in 1946

i got the car with the sbc but im going banger and if i recall in raceing it was run what you brung as long as you were faster than the guy behind you
