Can anyone tell me if this is an original popout?

It does say 'electrolock' on the back, but I do not see a number on the bezel.

Why is there no visible number?

Also I saw another popout that had just an enclosed letter <B> on the back cover. Could it be an original?

That one is original also, < B > Briggs and Stratton Co.

Where is the key code on your popout? Mine looks similar and I can not find the A??? Number so as to get a new key made.

The keyway in the 3rd photo just does not look right with the large opening at the top ?

The later pop outs have a small hole for releasing the cylinder which would have a Key # on it.
