Fenton Headers
What are the correct bolt lengths and sizes for my NOS Fenton headers? Don't want to get into the water jackets

Re: Fenton Headers
(4 front) 7/16" 14 x 1-3/16 "
(8 ) 3/8" 16 x 1-1/4" center and rear Stock bolts but you will have to determine length as the flange on the Fenton headers may vary in thickness from stock.

Re: Fenton Headers
Shouldn’t the left center lower bolt on originals be about an inch longer? I have 4 sets and that bolt is about 1 3/4 longer. I am away from home so can’t check exact lengths

These are from an old post. These are mine. I now have 4 really nice sets one NOS. LOOKat the lower left center bolt. These have the Ford part number on them. Old and nice. |

Re: Fenton Headers
- First clean all the exhaust manifold holes out.
- Using two long bolts, 3/8 and 7/16"; hand thread them in the block and measure the protrusion under the head or to the outside of the bolt head - Deduct 1/8" to 1/4" from the insertion length - add thicknesses of manifold flanges and any washers or lock washers if you plan on using them - buy or custom cut the bolts to the dimensions you calculated |

Re: Fenton Headers
The manifold pictured looks like the speedway version of Fenton’s original header. The lower bolt in the center flange is longer.
