Default Schwalms

I bought a engine from Schwalms last week, very nice folks. Jen has emailed me and called twice. She sent pix today of my block in its beginning stage. I now believe I made the right choice in buying my first A engine. I am looking forward to many more pix from them. First class service.

You made the right choice. Great people, exceptional workmanship. Jen and Ora are super people to deal with.

Can you post the pics she sent you? I’m anxious to see a New engine block.

At Hershey last year I had a conversation with Ora about the possibility of him getting a few Bortz blocks to use in his engines. His response was that generally it was not something he was interested in. Remember that the name of his company is Schwalm's BABBITTED Bearings. Bortz's are inserted. I still like the looks of Ora's engines.

Smooth One, its not one of the new Burtz blocks, its a original block with Babbitt bearings, sorry for the confusion.

Great choice, Ora rebuilt my engine over 5 years ago with inserts, no issues.

Costs should be on his website, located in PA.

I had a great experience with Ora and Jen 4 years ago, and am extremely happy with the engine he built for me. Visiting their shop was a treat.
