Door and Window framing
I have a 32 Coupe with 5 windows. I would like to replace the wooden frames for the windows and doors myself. Does anyone have advice on the best type of wood for this project? Would Pine work, or would it be best to use Ash or something else?

Ash or any other hardwood that does not readily split, as original. Softwoods such as pine are a bad idea, especially when it comes to tack retention as well as strength. The wood in the B pillar is semi-structural.

Clutch Presure Plate to Flywheel (3/8-16 x 3/4 in. lg bolt) 22 to 26 ft. lbs. for both Lincoln and Mercury. [/B In the past, not knowing this, I always tightened up the bolts by hand using a 3/8 socket until they felt TIGHT without forcing them. |
