This mounts on the firewall. I took this off my Merc in 1999 and it's been stored inside on the shelf since then. Worked when I removed it. Yesterday, I checked it out using the procedures set forth in the 49-51 Mercury Manual and it passed. This the original OEM part. Includes 30A fuse. Shipping is extra. Will be shipped in small Flat Rate box.
