Default Installing Mitchell Syncro Tranny

Can I R & R a tranny without putting car on lift? I have the Mitchell Tranny but no access to lift. I can put it on jack stands or whatever....
Any advise would be welcomed.

You can remove the transmission without a lift. You can pull the engine or you can put the car on jack stands and remove the rear end. either way is a lot of work but if there is a reason to remove the engine or rear end that will help you make the choice.

If you don't have time to do it right the 1st time, how do you have time to do it the 2nd time?
