46-48 Radio Presets
How do you set a radio station to a number on a 1946 to 1948 Wonder Bar radio? Thanks Gary

Re: 46-48 Radio Presets
Is that the radio that you select your station, then pull out the button (part-way) you want that station pre-set on, then push it back in all the way? I might have it mixed up with the '51 radio on my old car but that is the way it worked. I cannot imagine ol' Henry or Edsel changing much back in them days.

Straight from the Owner's Manual. Figure 1 referred to in the instructions is below.

I have a confession to make. I had the radio converted to AM/FM by Electro-Tech in Minnesota (www.turnswitch.com). Looks original and sounds terrific. Gary Last edited by GaryTx; 01-28-2014 at 07:19 AM. |
