Default 29 hood cowl lacing installation help

Does any one have a picture or diagram of how to correctly bend the end of wire that holds the hood lacing at each end of the gas tank on a 29.

Do a search for original Cowl Lacing and i think Tom's 28 Phaeton will come up and he has some great shots of it....

I bought a special tool from a model T supplier that installs them the proper way. The T tool is used to install some kind of bands (transmission I think) on the model T, but works good for the cowl and shell. The head on the cowl is installed inside and the two prongs are each bent in a arc, not smashed flat. The tool was about $25 plus postage. I might be able to find the supplier if you need it.

Here's a picture and diagram I saved awhile back - think it was Tom Wesenberg who originally posted them:

Yes, that's my unrestored original gas tank lacing. Also note that the wire is fed through the center of the lacing, and NOT over the top of it. Also notice the size of the wire. I've seen some repro wire that is only about half the correct diameter.
