ford part number
I was looking at a ford turn signal ass'y that lists the part number as 9BA 13341A. What does the 9BA stand for? It lists for a '60 ford but I can't find any info on a ford part number that start with 9BA.

Re: ford part number
The SERVICE PN should read as B9A 13341-A.
If it does not show the box it came in, the PN was listed incorrectly, or in the case of a vendor selling a non- GENUINE switch, it is close enough to gain your interest without infringing on copyright law.

Re: ford part number
Can you show where you saw this PN?
9BA is (as far as I know) not a valid PN PREFIX.

Re: ford part number
fordor41,
KULTULZ is correct. The normal format for the Ford part number prefix is... "The first letter of the standard 4-digit prefix gives the decade, the following number gives the year of the decade, the next letter gives the vehicle line..." B = 50's decade 9 = '59 A = 'all' vehicle lines, not a model specific part. (additional letter as needed) More info and code letter charts at this link... https://www.fordification.com/tech/datecodes.htm . Last edited by dmsfrr; 08-11-2021 at 11:03 AM. Reason: insert link |

Checked it again and it said B9A 13341A. Does that P/N make sense? Last edited by fordor41; 08-10-2021 at 10:10 PM. |
