Default 1928 Model front fenders

From what I've been told, there are three distinctly different front fenders from the 1928 model year. Can anyone tell me if this true?

It is TRUE, There is also two different front splash shields, two different hood sills, and two different running board shields. There is also two different type forged hood hooks and two different type rear frame bracket for the rear hood hook mounting, one 3 hole and one two hole.

Ron,

Don't forget about the "gold plated" hood hooks!

The judging standards and restoration guide book sold by the two national clubs explains all this, and shows ilistrations to explain the differences.
The differences are mostly related to early 28.
The rear fenders of early 28 coupes and roadsters and pickups are also different than later fenders.
