Stuck Tubular Shock Link
Replacing my front spring and can't get the driver's side tubular shock link removed. It looks clean (nice paint, etc.) but can't get the threads to move. Guessing it's either rusted inside or something sticky (shock fluid?) leaked into it.
I'm soaking it in PB Blaster right now, but wondering if anyone else has any tricks to remove it without destroying it. If I can't get it off, is there anything wrong with removing the arm from the shock vs. removing the link from the arm? |

Re: Stuck Tubular Shock Link
Removing the arm from the shock is the easy way to do the job. It is a royal pain to assemble the tube shock links.
