Default Assembly of pitman are to drag link

i have never done this before. Does the ball of the pitman arm go into the slot on the drag link the put the ball caps, spring and end plug in. Or do the ball caps and spring go in before the pitman arm ball is inserted. I have looked at the Les Andrews book, but I am confused about the order of the assembly.

Thanks for your help.

Looking at the assembly instructions on Snyder's web site, it looks like one ball cap goes in, then the pitman arm, then the other ball cap, spring and end plug. Can anyone confirm this please?

Thanks again.

That's how I did it.... I also had to hold the joint together tightly to get the threaded plug started.
