Default 36 Convertible sedan question ???

I am looking at a 36 Ford convertible sedan that is missing the rear fenders. Do they interchange with closed car rear fender's ?? thanks for any help, Rockey Marino

According to my " Green Bible" (thanks Walt) the rear fenders are the same for Tudor, Fordor, Victoria & Phaeton. No mention specifically of the Convertible Sedan, but I'd be very surprised if it differed from these. The coupe / roadster fenders are different as the rear of the body narrows down a bit. Shame I'm so far away as I have a very solid rust-free pair of sedan rears

Convertible sedan uses the same rear fender as a tudor, fordor sedan or phaeton.

The trunkback convertible sedan has no hole for the light in the right rear fender since the lights mount on the trunk. You did not say whether it was slantback or trunkback.

Please forward your vin number and which style convert/sdn you have to Ford Barn member Hamtown Al. He is trying to determine by vin number the point where Ford made the switch between '36 convert/sdn flatbacks and humpbacks.

Thanks for the help everyone. The car is a flatback model. I have no Vin # at this time. I am thinking of buying the car, but dont want to search for alot of impossible to find parts. It's a half finished restoration. The current owner is setteling his father's estate. He is not sure what it is worth, neither am I. I dont see many convertible sedan's for sale to gauge value.
Thanks again, Rockey
