Default 48-52 F1 Dennis Carpenter Fenders

I hadn't seen any reviews of these, so I thought I'd post one.

The fender is perfect in every way. DC put out an excellent product. My truck, in spite of being in rough shape when I got it, was pretty original. The shape and stamping is perfect compared to an original.

I only have two gripes.

a.) The packaging was shockingly minimal. I think it would be very easy to damage one of these in shipping. There were foam pieces protecting the corners, and one sheet of bubble wrap standing in between the fender and a careless driver.

b.) The entire fender is covered in weld-thru primer, which the DC website calls 'silver protective paint' or something like that. The primer needs to all come off in order to put quality primer over it. Not an easy task on a fender this large.

Here are some pictures. Note in the last pic, I only secured the fender on my truck with two bolts which is why there's a bit of a gap.

Haha! I only wish I had the cash for both sides. Two fenders at the same time. That's the dream!

Ross, I don't think I'd be able to tell one of these from an original side by side. Everything is right.

Ive heard the rumor about front fenders but heard it will be a few more years. Hopefully the price comes down a little
