Model A plates in Texas 28-31, in addition to the passenger plates number, are stamped CM for commercial plates.

Some places also had "Farm" or "Farm Truck" plates.

Up here in Canada I once saw a 2 ton stake box truck, w/straw and manure residue in the box, w/a Florida "farm" plate. I wondered what the heck is a Florida farm truck doing up here, then it turned a corner and I saw the name on it, it was some travelling circus truck.
