Default Upcoming swap meets

After a year of covid shutdowns it will be interesting to see what shows up at the swap meets that decide to run this year. As I’m sure others have experienced, this lost year has resulted in some re-examination of life’s plans and priorities, especially for us guys in our 70s +. For me, it is an acceptance that what I have is all I need, and my restoration days are behind me, and it’s time to let go of things accumulated in 50 years in the hobby, maybe even one of my cars. If there is another Portland Swap Meet (which at this moment is still questionable), I will have a table and be ready to sell my old rusty junk.

I’m looking forward to some Swap meets, but the only one that I know of that appears to be happening is Spokane.

When Portland opens back up, we’ll have a table there.

700.....I’m on the same page
If I restore all I have, I’d have to live to be 142 and work 60 hour weeks (w/no vacation!)

I'm planning to live to be 100 years old...so far...so good

I only have two "hobby" cars, and when people ask when I'm going to finish them I always reply..."Hopefully never"

Several years ago, I got rid of everything I didn’t think I would be able to finish before I was 90. So maybe moving a couple of years ago didn’t help, but I still have fifteen years to complete the projects that I have.

I rechecked yesterday, because the last I heard there was still some discussion. It looks now like it’s for sure been cancelled.

That would be 2021. 2022, no information that I know of yet.

Just went to one in Alameda and the majority was hot rod/muscle cars parts. I did see a few Model A wheels and a 28/29 bumper. But, some of the vendors had left by the time I got there.

Glad to see that the Long Beach Model T Club has scheduled its Swap Meet (lots of Model A parts also) for July 17 (http://75.103.84.165/wp-content/uplo...Meet-Flyer.pdf).

Anybody know if the Orange County Model T Club and the San Fernando Model A Club are holding their Swap Meets this year?

I’ll be setting up at Chickasha next March and possibly Moultrie in November. I’ve had a number of people tell me that Ebays new selling rules have made them reconsider the swap meet venue.

I hope everyone that has an excess considers the swap meet

At Daytona Beach, Fl., there is a cruise-in swap meet every first Saturday of each month.
Been there several times selling accumulated parts that are no longer needed (until you need one, LOL). Have not been there since the pandemic, but plan to go this Saturday
Lord willing.
