Windshield drain hose
Does anyone know who sells the hose that slides on the metal drain tubes at the bottom of the windshield frame for a 37 sedan? I looked at Macs, Drake, and some others. No luck. Thanks Bruce

Re: Windshield drain hose
As I recall, the hoses are 1/4" I. D. and are thin wall, black rubber. Buy at any auto parts store.

Think that is something you would buy local.

Yep, I used clear tubing on mine, available in many places.

Re: Windshield drain hose
As others have said, it's tubing. vacuum tubing looks correct and works. Napa or others have bulk.

Re: Windshield drain hose
Make sure that the metal drain tubes in the body are good and clean. In the past I have found them to be plugged up.

Re: Windshield drain hose
What is the route of this rubber hose which connects to the metal tube under the dash to the outside? In other words, where does it exit the cab? Thanks for you reply.

Re: Windshield drain hose
It routes behind the upholstered cowl panel and down into the bottom of the cowl.Make sure to cowl is clean and there is a gap or hole for the water to exit.

Re: Windshield drain hose
This is certainly the correct routing for the windshield drain hose, however I'm planning to connect the two windshield drain holes with the 1 cowl vent hose with a 4 way vacuum fitting and run all 3 out the center firewall hole where the original cowl vent only drained.

Most places I frequent sell it by the foot off of rolls.
