Sediment Bulb Problem
I installed a new tank valve and screen today in my 31. With the sediment bulb off I get a good flow of gasoline into a container. When I put the screen and cork gasket in and put the bowl on I get no gas. It had been working fine before as I even had a Wix filter in the bowl. Any ideas please.

Re: Sediment Bulb Problem
Your carb must be full of gas. Start the engine and it will flow.

Re: Sediment Bulb Problem
Check the gasket is not "covering" the hole in the aluminum top?
My screen is quite fine. Try assembling without the screen and checking flow at the inlet to the carburetor Joe K

Re: Sediment Bulb Problem
I just went out and took off the in line filter that I put on this week and put the original gas line back on and I had flow. Prior to that I couldn't even get gas into the bulb. Keep playing with it.
