Well Hello Wally!
Managed to help a family member become the new owner of another '36 pickup. This beauty was the pride of a long time auto parts business owner. Since his passing about 20 years ago, his faithful partner was stored inside for a long nap. The family was forced to sell and we are honored to become the second owners. It has rust issues on the frame and cab - fortunately, other trucks have made donations of those parts. We'll need to coax the V8 back to life and do all the usual work on the other systems and sheetmetal. Happy work, to be sure.
Wally has the gentleman who kept 'er on the road. Seems only fitting to rename the truck to carry on his legacy. Please welcome Wally!

Re: Well Hello Wally!
Wally rode tall, proud, and resolute during the trip. No wiggle, waggle, or twerking for this one.

Re: Well Hello Wally!
Good looking project, shouldn't take much to get "him" back on the road.

Re: Well Hello Wally!
Drive line is intact although it isn't the original. Still a flat head, just the 39+ version.

Re: Well Hello Wally!
I love the 35-36 pickups, especially the 35. Good show.

Re: Well Hello Wally!
Is that the one that only had one picture and it was sitting outside in the brush?

Re: Well Hello Wally!
Busted deal on eBay worked out for the good guys. There were multiple pics on the auction site.

Re: Well Hello Wally!
Thanks for the kind words, folks.
The auction listing likely was updated multiple times - adding pics and answers to bidder questions. Real sweet gal selling her father's truck - that she used when learning to drive. The 'winner' was someone with a history that included fraud charges. Needless to say, the seller took a pass.
