Default search for 38/39 COE

I've been toying around for a little while about that thought of getting an early COE. I'd really prefer one that is unrestored over one that has been re-done. Typical dry stored farm truck or maybe a fire truck. I had a 45 stake truck as a teen like that. It was neat, well kept and low milage. I really don't want something that others have messed around with before or at least recently.

Does anyone on here have experience with COE's of this era or COE's in general? What area of the country were they mainly sold? What do you think would be an appropriate price ball park? Understanding that the heavy trucks have limited apeal. I never see them in easter PA where I live.

I've had good luck with searches like this in the past through hemmings, but I'd like to try and hook up with someone first who knows a little more about them.

Thanks

Bryan
