Default 1930 coupe cowl

i have a 30 coupe with a badly rotted cowl. can i use any 30 cowl or must it be for a coupe. i know a open car is out

The 30 coupe cowl is unique to the car the door hinge spacings are different from other closed cars . If you are talking about just the firewall itself then any 30 car would do .

Richard, I have no experience replacing a cowl section, but consider these idiosyncrasies:
> Cowls made by Briggs and Murray likely have some minor differences from the cowl in your Coupe;
> The Tudor and Coupe are the 2 most numerous Model A's, so look for the cowl from another Coupe.
