Brake pedal sticks
Brake pedal was working fine until I tightened the band the other day. Now it does not return to the upright position when I take my foot off it. Any ideas?

Re: Brake pedal sticks
Check the spring on the shaft, it may have collapsed or slipped between the ears on the band.

Re: Brake pedal sticks
The spring did slip between the ears a little- one side of the first coil is pinched in there! Can I maybe put a flat washer between the ears and the spring to keep that from happening?

Re: Brake pedal sticks
Will not be the first time someone has done that fix.
