It is a Model "A" pump. The Model "A" & "B" pumps are fit, form and functionally interchangeable. There is a minute difference. The oil exit hole in the Model "B" pump is rectangular, but it is round in the Model "A's" pump.

Bob,
you are correct, I believe it is an early "A" pump. more than likely the housing has only a 9/16" bore instead of the later 5/8" It can be modified to increase the output if necessary, just have to look at the application. John
