Ford Automatic Power Pilot
I was looking at the literature of the time for a 1953 Ford and ran across this dazzling feature, but no explanation of it's properties.

Sounds like an "advertising slogan" to me...
 I know that Ford built the "Interceptor" V8 for Police use however, I've never actually seen one.  I'd like to know exactly what they are referring to...
