Default Ford Automatic Power Pilot

I was looking at the literature of the time for a 1953 Ford and ran across this dazzling feature, but no explanation of it's properties.

I'm assuming it is something to do with the carburetor, manifold and fuel metering?

Sounds like an "advertising slogan" to me... I know that Ford built the "Interceptor" V8 for Police use however, I've never actually seen one.
I'd like to know exactly what they are referring to...
