Default Mart's 32 Fuel tank and sender. Make 'em work! 2021 Ep31 Pt2

Hello! Welcome to Mart's garage.
Pushing on with the 32 sees me repairing the fuel tank and modifying a suitable sender unit.
Another piece in the Jigsaw.
All the best. I'll catch you on Friday for next weeks update.
Mart.

Mart, you should have tested the tank unit with the dash gauge you are using on the bench with a battery to see if it all works before fitting to the tank. The original 32 ford fuel gauge was not an electric type. Unless the English cars are different. Regards, Kevin.

Hi Kevin. This was done in conjunction with fitting the gas gauge to the 33. Both gauges were tested with the Pop sender. I used a 6V motorcycle battery during the testing. I'm going to use a novel regulated supply for the 32 and will show it after testing.
thanks for thinking of me.
Mine is a USA 32, but I believe UK ones would be the same hydrostatic unit.
