Default 32 ford bumpers

I've noticed at least two different styles of bumpers for the 32 passenger car, one with a large knuckle and one with a smaller one. The repops are of the smaller type, so is there anyway to tell an original?

Stick your ity-bity finger inside the end nuckle. If there is a washer in the center it is a repop. Jim

The repops I saw were much lighter than the originals. Are there any that approximate the same weight and strength? Or are the all lighter versions.
