Default Off topic motorized bike

Gentlemen
I just came across this Thuster bike with a small 2 Stroke motor on it that followed me home today. I’ve never owned one of these before. It needs some work to get it running, but it does have spark and compression. I don’t know where to get parts for the motor, and there’s no name on the motor either I can find the bike parts, but not the motor parts. I figured I can come here to ask the experts for help. Can anyone tell me what I have here? Or where to get some information.

The gas tank looks like a whizzer.

No it’s not a whizzer. I thought it was when I first found it it was dark in the barn when I dragged it out it look like something from 70s. It’s a 2 stroke motor. I did find a motorbike form that’s very active . I found a ton of information in a hour I’m going to go try to get it up and running for Hershey lol.

I bought two of those engine kits a few years ago. They are made in China, and cost about $120 for the complete kit to motorize a bike.

Be sure to use enough oil, like 12 parts gas to 1 part oil for the first 100 miles, then never leaner than 16:1.

Can almost guarantee that Tom is right, comes as a kit from ebay.

A friend built one and we took it camping with us. Well we forgot 2 stroke gas... Fueled by gin, we mixed up our own from Coleman fuel and tiki torch oil. Seized up after one tank but boy did it keep the bugs down

When I was in India about 20-25 years ago there was a lot of different Motorized bikes around. Some had a tiny 2 stroke engine mounted at the rear hub. Just sayin'.

Thanks for all of your help gentlemen!!

John,

That’s neat. I always wanted one of those for my Schwin when I was in Jr. High School. That’s much better than those stupid motorized boards that seem to be everywhere in Southern California these days.

Now you have to find the bike rack for a Tudor with a trunk!

Check the compression, if it is low it won't start no matter what, been there.

2 strokes require a certain amount of back pressure that the mfgs. build into the exhaust system. Check for proper muffler.

Thanks everyone!!
I found out that I need a gas and oil mix of 16:1 to
You’re right. I need compression and back pressure from the muffler to.
Anyone interested in buying this motorized bike? Make me a offer. I’ll be in Hershey this year. I can bring it there. Send me a pm.
But it depends on how much fun I will have once I it running. I just might keep it
