Default 1930 roadster

I'm having a top installed on a 1930 roadster and the installer has placed the top of the rear window frame one inch from the rear wood cross bow. I told him I wanted it to rest on the four rubber bumpers when the top was down. It looks out of place that high up . Where should the window have been placed? It seems to me it should have been centered or spaced in the center of the rear top panel.
