Radiator bolt trick...from my wife!
When installing the radiator for the roadster, and pulling it again when I remembered to put on the fan shroud, I struggled to get the bolts up throught the front cross member. As I was fumbling around trying to get them started, blindly searching for the hole, my wife suggested using some fine wire to pull the bolt up. I took some of her florist wire, dropped it thru from the top, ran it thru the cotter pin hole, twisted the wire together...and danged if it didn't work.
So, now I guess I owe her.... |

Hi Vern,
I think it is just wonderful that you shared her suggestion with us. We men often get wrapped around an impossible problem and seldom ask our wives for advice. If we would listen and pay attention, women can come up with entirely different solutions that men would never even think about. |
