Default Answer to oil question for Model As

Here it is guys , Model A and T s had there own special blend just for them, now to find Gulf station that has it in stock. This is from a 1931 road map.

That station will also have gasoline for 19 cents per gallon.

In high school I worked in a Gulf station and the cheap Gulftane was 13 cents during gas wars. Farmers were filling 55 gallon barrels for tractor fuel.

Personally, I prefer to use Gargoyle Mobiloil "E" in my Ford Model A's:




But after seeing this original banner at my local filling station, I'm considering switching to Veedol oil instead:



....so which oil do you use in your Ford Model A?
